Ride with us to Perry, Florida for the Smokin’ in the Pines BBQ Festival at Forest Capital Park — one of the largest and longest-running BBQ competitions in the Southeast.
We’ll roll out of Crawfordville and take the scenic run down through the pines and flatwoods of the Big Bend, arriving at the festival around 10:30–11:00 AM. From there it’s BBQ, fellowship, and a good time.
What’s waiting for us:
- Over 30 competition teams smoking pulled pork
- People’s Choice sampling — you be the judge (tickets $15, sample 30+ different recipes)
- Live southern rock, country, and blues on the main stage
- Food trucks, arts and craft vendors
- Antique car show and the Bugs & BBQ VW show
- Free admission to the festival grounds

- Distance: Approximately 50 miles, easy 1-hour run
